Out of Office was founded in a tiny cabin in Upstate New York in February 2020 (weeks before the pandemic).
Thank you for wanting to support Out of Office! There are plenty of ways to help out including:

- Donate! Help OOO stay independent and sustainable. Our fall 2022 fundraiser is now closed.
At the moment, all contributions and work done for Out of Office are on a volunteer basis. As we continue to grow and raise money, our goal is to pay contributors for their work.

For a small fee, you’ll receive guides which can include a list of recommended stays, our top restaurant and cafe picks, nightlife suggestions, wellness spots, and more to ensure that you have a bon voyage! Each guide is a digital PDF sent to you automatically via email. We prefer these digital methods not only because it’s easier to share with your travel companions but is kinder to our earth by reducing paper and waste. Refunds are not accepted.
